Who we are

The Custom Deals (operated by RMAAC Technologies) is the data controller for the personal information collected through thecustomdeals.com. Our registered address is 6 London Road, Tanners yard, Bagshot, GU19 5HD

Order information: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, and order/payment details (payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers).

Account and contact information: anything you provide when contacting us, signing up for emails, or leaving a review.

Browsing information: pages viewed, products viewed, cart activity, and general device/browser information, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.

Marketing consent: whether you've opted in to receive marketing emails or text messages, and your engagement with those messages.

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, handle payments, and manage returns.

To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.

With your consent, to send marketing communications about products, offers, and updates.

Our legal basis for using your data

Who we share it with

Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which processes and stores order data on our behalf.

Our payment processor — to securely take payment.

Our fulfilment partner(s), including Avasam-network suppliers — to pack and ship your order directly to you.

Analytics and advertising platforms (for example Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta/Facebook), where enabled — used to measure site performance and, where you've consented, to show relevant ads.

Our email/SMS marketing platform, where you've opted in to marketing.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies for core site functionality (like keeping items in your basket), analytics, and — where you consent — marketing and ad measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through a cookie banner on the site.

How long we keep your data

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes (typically 6 years under UK law). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate data; ask us to delete your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent at any time (for marketing, this is as simple as clicking "unsubscribe"); and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've mishandled your data.

International transfers

Some of the providers we use (for example, analytics or advertising platforms) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as those providers' standard contractual clauses.
